Zwick, Garnet Finish Sixth at Muhlenberg Fall Invitational
ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Swarthmore senior Eric Zwick was among nine golfers to break 80, leading the Garnet to a sixth place finish at the Muhlenberg Fall Invitational held at Lehigh Country Club Monday afternoon. It is the first action of the 2006-07 season for Swarthmore.
On a seasonably warm day, Zwick posted a round of 79 (40-39) for to finish in a three-way tie for sixth overall amongst 52 participants. The Garnet totaled 343 strokes, getting a pair of 87s from senior Zach Moody and sophomore Michael Bernasek, as well as a 90 from junior Armando Russo.
Brian Bergstol from Moravian led the Greyhounds (310 points) to the team title with a Invitational-best score of 73.
